Aarush, known as a 'Panauti', works at a Macau casino where he spreads his bad luck to players by being paid to do so. He is rejected by Pooja, the girl he loves, and is punched by her brother Major Krishna Rao during a confrontation. The event sets the stage for his ongoing bad luck and social struggles.

Aarush travels to London to stay with his best friend Bob and his wife Hetal, seeking a fresh start. His arrival introduces new dynamics with Hetal initially displeased with his presence, especially after a series of clumsy incidents like destroying the living room and killing her pet parrot.

Bob and Hetal plan to marry Aarush to their boss's daughter, Devika, who initially seems traditional but turns into a modern girl during their honeymoon in Italy. Devika later leaves Aarush for her American boyfriend, leading him to contemplate suicide by drowning.

Aarush attempts to drown himself but is saved by Sandy, a girl he kisses while she tries to help him breathe. Sandy initially misjudges Aarush as a pervert but later befriends him after a joke about his wife’s death, which she believes is true.

Aarush and Sandy develop a bond, but confusion arises as Sandy learns about his supposed wife’s death, leading to misunderstandings. Aarush later requests a divorce, and Sandy eventually accepts him after clearing the misunderstanding.

Aarush must persuade Sandy's protective brother, Major Krishna Rao, to accept their relationship. Hetal fabricates stories about Aarush and her family’s wealth and status to impress Krishna and her father Batuk Patel.

Hetal and Aarush rent a mansion and pretend to be married to convince the family members. They introduce a borrowed African child as their own, furthering the deception. Unexpectedly, Batuk arrives early, forcing additional lies about Aarush's identity and wealth.

Krishna visits the casino and quickly becomes suspicious of Aarush and Bob's identities. He uses a lie detector test on Aarush, leading to tense moments, but Krishna ultimately apologizes and agrees to their marriage after understanding the truth.

During a royal event, workers accidentally release laughing gas into the hall, causing everyone to burst into uncontrollable laughter. Amidst the chaos, secrets are revealed, though most are too intoxicated to acknowledge the truth immediately.

Aarush goes on stage to reveal the truth about his bad luck and the series of misunderstandings. Despite his fears, Krishna sees Aarush as no longer a jinx and orders him to marry Sandy, leading to a happy ending for the couple.

Hetal and Bob live together happily with Batuk Patel, and Aarush’s luck finally turns positive. The story concludes with reconciliation and new beginnings for all characters involved.
