Yevgeny Yevstigneyev, Georgy Burkov, Leonid Yarmolnik and Galina Polskikh star in Sergey Nikonenko’s bittersweet comedy adapted from Vasily Shukshin’s short stories “Touches on the Portrait”, “The Stubborn One” and “The Strong Go Further”. Nikolai Knyazev, a TV‑repair shop worker blessed with skill and a big heart, is deemed eccentric by his townsfolk.
