The omnibus assembles the short‑film winners of the inaugural INCAA public script competition, each receiving a production budget as the grand prize. After a national theatrical release, the collection propelled a new generation of filmmakers into prominence, forming the New Argentine Cinema—a wave of contemporary work that emerged in the mid‑1990s in response to decades of political and economic turmoil.
