Set against the harsh Jordanian sun, this observational documentary follows local workers at a Spanish archeological mission. Struggling with low wages and a rising cost of living, Palestinian Jordanian Abu Deya seeks a better life for his family, but a past criminal record presents significant challenges. The film sensitively explores his relationships with his family, the land, and the legal system, raising questions about the possibility of rehabilitation within a society burdened by its history.
