The story follows a young woman who pretends to be ill to gain entry to a brutal mental hospital, hoping to uncover what happened to her sister, a former patient. Inside, the warden and staff abuse and torture the inmates, coercing them into cheap exploitation films, while the terrifying presence of Greta, the Mad Butcher, looms over everyone.
