When she turned twenty‑two, Gina Kim left Korea to study abroad, fleeing her mother’s control and fearing a future as an underappreciated housewife. The decision triggered anorexia, which she filmed as a raw performance‑art diary, tracing her mental decline and gradual recovery. The work shows how video can capture a filmmaker’s most intimate, confessional voice.
