Durga is a short-tempered woman who verbally and physically abuses Sharada for minor missteps, while Ramprasad tolerates her cruelty. Vijay and Kanchan watch but do not interfere. This toxic dynamic establishes the pattern of domination within the Kumars' home.

Amar remains unemployed and struggles to find work. On his journey, he crosses paths with Seema, the daughter of a wealthy businessman who runs an NGO for women's welfare. He criticizes her stance against men, setting up a clash of ideals.

Karamchand secretly overhears the exchange between Amar and Seema. Although disappointed with Seema, he is impressed by Amar's honest conduct and appoints him as the manager of his cycle factory. This marks a turning point as Amar begins a successful career.

Durga pressures Amar to marry Sona, offering a dowry of Rs 1 million. Amar rejects the greed, and Durga then demands Rs 10,000 from Sharada, which Sharada pleads for valiantly. Durga remains relentless and ultimately throws Sharada and Pinky out of the house.

Sharada and Pinky die in a roadside accident, leaving Amar devastated. The family remains apathetic toward the tragedy and even asks Vijay to proceed with the engagement to Sona. Amar mourns in silence while the Kumars move on with their plans.

Seema shows Amar a mother and daughter and claims they are alive, prompting Amar to believe his family’s cruelty may be changing. He is overjoyed to see them and entertains a glimmer of hope. The revelation sets the stage for a new plan.

Sharada contradicts Seema by revealing that the supposed alive mother-daughter pair were not them; two mentally challenged women wearing their clothes had died in the accident. Amar is enraged by the deceit and vows revenge against his toxic family. He begins to plot manipulation to force a change in the Kumars.

Karamchand suggests that Amar and Seema pretend to be a married couple to exact revenge on the Kumars. They agree to the risky plan, recognizing it could overturn years of abuse. The alliance marks a cunning Trojan horse into the household.

Amar and Seema infiltrate the Kumar household as a married couple. Durga tries to slap Seema, but Seema overpowers her, and the family begins to fear the new order. Seema forces Kanchan, Durga, and Ramprasad to perform all household tasks, and Amar rearranges power at work by appointing Bajrangi a good salary, while Kanchan slowly learns to respect him.

Vijay grows disgusted with Sona's flippant attitude and arrogance. She humiliates him by making him remove his shoes, reminding him of how he treated Sharada, and he breaks the engagement.

Vijay is deeply remorseful for his earlier abuse toward his wife and daughter. He learns from Sharada that she and Pinky are alive, which devastates him and drives him to seek forgiveness. He begs Sharada to forgive him and to stay with his wife and daughter.

Bajrangi decides to leave home to start a new life with his wife and son. He departs the Kumars' home to forge a fresh path away from the toxic family dynamics.

Durga's guilt drives her to contemplate self-immolation, but her sons intervene in time. She begs Sharada for forgiveness and asks her children not to desert her. Karamchand arrives and reveals Amar's ploy to the Kumars.

Seema, angered by Amar's hesitation, drags him to his room and questions why he has not stopped her from going with her father. Amar finally confesses his love for Seema, and the couple reconciles, ending the conflict between them.
