The group called Friends Forever refuses to play inside clubs, opting instead to set up their van outside venues and perform for bewildered passersby. Drummer Nate, guitarist Josh, lighting tech Jen and their three dogs drive hundreds of miles for a single 15‑minute loading‑zone show. The documentary follows their smoke‑filled, generator‑powered road trip across the U.S., hunting the perfect parking spot, and shows that no audience is too small or confused for their mission to save rock.
