Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man

Two men break into the Talbot family crypt and steal the wolfsbane buried with Larry Talbot. The full moon shines on Larry's body, reviving him and triggering the transformation into the Wolf Man. He is later found wandering in Cardiff and taken to a hospital.

In Cardiff, Larry is discovered by the police and treated by Dr. Mannering. During the same full moon, he transforms into the Wolf Man and murders a police constable. The danger to the town escalates as fear grows about the creature in their midst.

The following morning, Larry recalls the prior night's events and pleads with Mannering to summon the police before he kills again. Inspector Owen refuses to believe his story and suspects an impostor. Tensions rise as authority and fear clash with Larry's account.

Mannering and Owen travel to Llanwelly to inspect the Talbot tomb, hoping to solve the mystery. They discover that Larry's body is missing and that one of the grave robbers was killed in the same manner as four years earlier. The case deepens the town's unease.

Larry escapes the hospital by biting through his restraints, allowing him to flee the facility. He leaves Wales in search of a cure for his condition, joining forces with the gypsy Female, Maleva, and beginning a journey across Europe.

With Maleva, Larry travels across Europe toward Vasaria, hoping the notes of Dr. Frankenstein will provide a cure or a way to suppress his affliction. The quest marks a shift from fear and pursuit to a search for scientific or occult solutions.

In the ruins of Frankenstein's estate, Larry uses a stone to break the ice and release the Monster. The creature awakens, but the notes to locate Frankenstein's work are not found. Larry clings to the hope that freeing the Monster might bring him closer to a cure.

To uncover the hiding place of the notes, Larry pretends to be a potential buyer of the estate and seeks out Baroness Elsa Frankenstein, Ludwig's daughter. Elsa declines to help but invites them to the Festival of the New Wine, drawing them into a larger social web.

During the festival, Mannering arrives and attempts to persuade Larry to submit to institutionalization. The Monster crashes the festivities and is attacked by villagers. Larry manages to guide the Monster toward safety, reinforcing the fragile alliance around him.

The following morning, Elsa, Mannering, and Maleva meet with Larry and the Monster at the ruins. The Baroness hands over Frankenstein's notes to Larry, who proposes transferring his life energy to the Monster to repair the laboratory and complete the process.

Mannering begins the life-energy transfer but, driven by curiosity, alters the procedure and revives the Monster to full strength. Elsa tries to stop the machines, but her efforts fail. The ritual coincides with a full moon, reviving both creatures in divergent, dangerous ways.

As the Wolf Man and the Monster clash, Vazec the innkeeper detonates a dam to drown them all. Elsa escapes with Mannering, while the two creatures are swept away by the flood in a dramatic and chaotic ending.
