This documentary explores the origins and evolution of Flemish horror cinema, beginning in the 1970s and looking towards its future. Viewers are introduced to long-lost and even unfinished genre films, including splatter and gore fests, post-apocalyptic movies, slasher films, and other unique productions. Interviews with directors, producers, composers, actors, and genre experts, combined with rare behind-the-scenes footage, classic scenes, stills, and previously unseen videos, provide an in-depth look at this often-overlooked corner of the horror landscape.
