Flodder 3

Opening sequence introduces the Flodder family living in Zonnedael and continuing their antisocial behavior. Ma Flodder regularly clashes with neighbors, while her sons and daughter engage in petty crime and welfare reliance. The younger kids Toet and Henkie join in mischief around the neighborhood, and Whisky the dog makes the parties loud. Grandpa often gets drawn into their schemes as the neighborhood grows tired of the disruption.

As the 25th anniversary of Zonnedael approaches, festival organizers fear the Flodders will ruin the celebrations. They devise tactics to force the family out, leveraging official terms that ban criminal activity and family expansion. Chairman Van Brandwijk becomes the driving force behind the plan to remove them.

One planner has his daughter Mirjam spy on Sjakie, the civil servant who helps the Flodders on the government's behalf. The surveillance reveals that city terms could force the Flodders to leave. The tension between the planners and the family escalates.

Plan 1 targets the Flodders with a car-stolen scheme. A nephew drives a car to the Flodder residence and calls the police, claiming it was stolen. The plan backfires when Kees notices the car and returns it, and the vehicle is parked at the original owner's home, making the theft look unsuspicious.

Plan 2 attempts to trap Kees for illegal prostitution. The nephew is sent to collect her but drops her in a red-light district where Van Brandwijk waits with a video camera. The plan collapses when the ride offer is revealed to be associated with the festival accountant, who would not be discredited.

Plan 3 involves recruiting a man claimed to be the Flodders' long-lost father to move in and act as a scapegoat. Ma Flodder rejects the arrangement and announces her engagement to the homeless man instead. The revelation helps Van Brandwijk's scheme by shifting attention away from eviction.

Sjakie uncovers the term on family expansion and tries to stop the upcoming marriage. His efforts prove unsuccessful as Ma Flodder is determined to marry the homeless person. The tension surrounding the wedding intensifies the pressure on the Flodders.

The wedding ceremony proceeds, and Ma Flodder's fiancé is revealed to have two children protesting the union. It later becomes clear he is not homeless but a billionaire. In a moment of betrayal, Ma Flodder ends the engagement and walks away.

In the ensuing chaos, Sjakie forgets to arrange rent payments for the Flodder house, leaving them at risk of eviction. He manages to secure a subsidy to bid on the house on behalf of the city council, delaying eviction and preventing immediate removal.

A public auction is held to sell the house. Van Brandwijk tries to outbid Sjakie, provoking friction within the committee. Ultimately, Ma Flodder's ex-fiancé buys the house and returns it to the Flodder family, blocking eviction.

The Flodders celebrate their apparent victory as Sjakie and Mirjam grow closer. Van Brandwijk, desperate to destroy them, steals a fuel truck and drives toward the Flodder home. The truck misses the residence, instead colliding with a neighboring house and triggering a town-wide fire.

In the aftermath, the town's decorations ignite a massive blaze, sparing only the Flodder home which wasn't decorated. Grandpa, once thought wheelchair-bound, reveals he can walk and escapes in time. The film closes with the Flodders celebrating their stand and Sjakie and Mirjam continuing their romance.
