Escape from Planet Earth

On the remote planet of Baab, we meet Scorch Supernova, an adventurous astronaut who thrives in the limelight, and his more cautious older brother Gary. While Gary manages mission support for the prestigious BASA, Scorch enjoys a thrilling reputation from their interstellar missions.

BASTA Headquarters receives a distress signal from Earth, ominously referred to as the 'Dark Planet' by Baabians. Despite Gary's warnings about the dangers of humans, Scorch insists on responding to the distress call, leading to an intense dispute between the brothers.

Frustrated by Scorch's reckless decision, Gary resigns from BASA, feeling that his brother’s bravado puts them both in jeopardy. He returns home to his loving wife Kira and their son Kip, anxiously watching Scorch's descent broadcasted live.

Upon his arrival on the Dark Planet, Scorch is unexpectedly caught in a 7-Eleven convenience store. The situation escalates quickly when he is ambushed and detained by the United States Army, under the command of General William T. Shanker.

Motivated by a desire to save his beloved uncle, Kip resolves to embark on a quest to rescue Scorch. Despite Gary’s strong objections, Kip secretly ventures out, determined to aid his uncle in the face of danger.

Realizing Kip has gone missing, Gary teams up with Kira to urgently return to BASA Headquarters. They narrowly avert a disastrous launch sequence, igniting a newfound sense of responsibility in Gary to save both his son and brother.

In a bold move, Gary decides to mount a rescue mission to Area 51 to save Scorch. The brothers reunite at the same 7-Eleven where their troubles began, only to find themselves in even deeper trouble as they are detained once again by the US Army.

Gary finds himself in a confrontation with General Shanker, who is driven by ulterior motives tied to a traumatic past involving aliens. Meanwhile, Lena, Shanker's girlfriend, manipulates the situation to secure access to powerful blubonium for Shanker.

As Skell and Shanker clash, chaos ensues in the cafeteria, culminating in a food fight. When Shanker reveals his intention to use a devastating weapon against Baab, Gary and Scorch's situation becomes even more desperate.

Amidst their confinement, Gary and the other captured aliens scheme to escape. Gary manages to sabotage Shanker’s weapon, allowing him and Scorch to flee Area 51 along with their newfound allies.

Back on Baab, Kip acts swiftly to rescue Kira from Lena, who is trying to steal blubonium. An intense aerial chase ensues, showcasing Kip's bravery and resourcefulness as he maneuvers through enemy jets.

Shanker, now equipped with Scorch's robotic suit, intercepts Kip and Kira's escape attempt using a tractor beam. In a desperate move, Gary and Scorch jump from their ship, seeking to reconcile as they fall.

As Shanker's true malicious intentions are revealed, the remorseful grey aliens intervene, turning against him. Gary seizes the moment, incapacitating Shanker and allowing for a climactic resolution of their conflicts.

With peace restored, Scorch returns home to Baab as a celebrated hero. In a heartfelt gesture, he weds Gabby Babblebrook, with Gary proudly standing by as his best man, symbolizing their reconciled bond.
