Across Catholic Latin America, many socially committed priests have abandoned their parish duties to labor alongside the poor in fields and factories. Known as “worker‑priests” and tied to liberation theology, they seek solidarity with the marginalized. The Chilean documentary follows one man's conversion into a worker‑priest and his effort to win the trust of the impoverished community.
