Set in 1995 Bolivia, director Marcos Loayza follows Jorge Ortiz and Elías Serrano as they transport a sacred Virgin image from the high‑altiplano to the eastern lowlands. En route the statue is stolen and taken to the Yungas, prompting the protagonists to pursue it. Ultimately they broker a pact with the Yungas villagers, leaving the image in their community.
