Set in the near future, a friendly Zenturian mission to Earth crashes on Phobos, the moon of Mars, prompting Soviet cosmonauts to launch a hazardous rescue in the harsh lunar terrain. Although the film never saw a US release, producer Roger Corman reshaped its premise for his 1966 sci‑fi horror QUEEN OF BLOOD, reusing several of its special‑effects.
