Ejen Ali: The Movie

Niki and Aliya steal an artificial heart meant for an old woman. They are intercepted by MATA pillar heads, prompting a frantic confrontation. Aliya tells Niki to escape as she stays to fight, buying time for her friend to flee.

Intruders hijack the plane transporting Cyberaya's mayor, Dato' Othman. Ali, Alicia, and Bakar launch a rescue operation, but the intruders escape as Othman is ejected from the aircraft. The tense attempt reveals the attackers’ audacity and the city’s fragility.

During the hijack, Bobby and Fit land the plane using an Override Mode similar to IRIS. Ali discovers that Bobby and Fit are testing a new-generation IRIS Neo capable of repeated overrides. The discovery foreshadows broader implications for control and power.

That night, Ali finds a pen-drive tucked in a music box left by his mother. The device becomes a pivotal clue connected to Aliya, IRIS, and the larger conspiracy surrounding MATA. The discovery deepens the mystery surrounding his past.

Alicia, Ali, and Bakar confront Othman at MATA, where he reveals that he founded the organization and seeded a culture of unquestioning loyalty. The revelation casts doubt on MATA's true purpose and its manipulation of agents. The party understands the scope of Othman’s grip on Cyberaya.

General Rama leads a raid on Abang Bear and disrupts the illicit operation. Bear escapes, but Niki intervenes and seizes the weapon cache. The raid heightens the stakes and brings Vikram’s network back into focus.

Ali pursues Niki to the slums on a scooter and later discovers a symbol linking Niki to Aliya. Niki realises that Ali is Aliya’s son, tying their fates to a shared, painful history. The revelation deepens the personal stakes for both characters.

At the Fringe, Mak Yah returns Ali's IRIS and hints at a larger destiny. Niki’s actions intersect with Mak Yah’s guidance, who calls Aliya’s legacy into question and labels him as Aliya’s avatar. This encounter reinforces the idea that personal history and power are inseparable from the technology they wield.

Rama orders an investigation of Vikram’s 'nests' at Beta Tower, while Ali and Niki clear them before agents arrive. Alicia confronts Ali about his frustration with Othman and his desire to return home, leading to a tense pursuit to a shopping mall where Fit removes his IRIS; Ali escapes with Bakar and Alicia.

The intruders on the plane are revealed to be allied with Niki. They target Fit’s IRIS Neo and access it using Aliya’s pen-drive, exposing a deep convergence of past alliances and present dangers. The line between ally and enemy becomes increasingly blurred.

Years later, Niki attempts to launch missiles from Cyberaya’s defense facility. Aliya overrides IRIS to destroy the missiles but dies from overexertion in the process. Her sacrifice marks a turning point in the balance of power around the IRIS system.

Vikram seeks revenge for the Beta Tower raid at the Fringe, while Mak Yah returns Ali his IRIS. Niki seizes Othman during the inauguration of his new factory; agents ambush, yet Niki exerts control with Override. Ali overrides IRIS and confronts the IRIS’s dimension, meeting Aliya.

In IRIS’s dimension, Aliya reveals that the IRIS stores data from its previous owner. She urges Ali to rely on determination rather than the device. Niki attempts a final suicide bombing, but Aliya’s data transfers to Niki’s IRIS, revoking access and leading to Niki’s detainment.

Othman recovers from his injuries and the Neo project is disbanded due to security flaws. Bakar shares Ali’s mother’s memories with MATA, and Dr. Ghazali, Ali, and Viktor visit the Fringe to launch the Peripheral Development Project to improve living conditions. The group ends with a celebratory feast at Mamak Maju.

In the two credit scenes, Dayang assigns Ali to Project SATRIA, and Rizuan and Dos follow him to the MATA Headquarters. The implications of AI armor and continued power struggles linger as the credits roll.
