Duke Mullane, manager of a Malayan tin mine, travels to a remote island to open a jungle mine. The natives welcome him, especially dancer Minyora, who is betrothed to local ruler King Kiang. After a series of mishaps Kiang turns hostile, leaving Duke, his crew, Minyora and his former lover Lory—now engaged to his boss—stranded on the island.
