The white horses that haunt Denys Colomb Daunant’s poetic vision roam the marshes of the Camargue in southwestern France. His fascination first materialized when he penned the autobiographical script for Albert Lamorisse’s acclaimed 1953 film White Mane. This short film celebrates the animals’ beauty through inventive camera work and an evocative electronic score by Jacques Lasry.
