In this animated misadventure, Donald Duck [Clarence Nash] works as a gold miner and finds himself in a playful, tit-for-tat clash with his stubborn donkey, Jenny the Burro [Clarence Nash]. The pair bumbles through a day of routine mining that grows into a humorous chase, as the two bicker, tease, and stumble through the rocky terrain and dusty air of the mine.

While the effort wears on, the head of Donald’s pickaxe gets hopelessly stuck on him. In the scramble to free the tool, he accidentally uncovers a rich vein of gold hidden beneath the rock.
