Dhool Ka Phool

Meena and Mahesh Kapoor are deeply in love, which leads to them becoming intimate. Meena becomes pregnant as a result of their relationship, setting the stage for subsequent conflicts and decisions. Mahesh, however, marries Malti Rai from a respectable family, complicating the situation.

Meena gives birth to a baby boy and takes him to Mahesh, who disowns both mother and child, admitting it was his mistake. This rejection leaves Meena devastated and she leaves her infant in a dark forest for safety. Meanwhile, Mahesh continues with his life, unaware of the child's fate.

Abdul Rasheed finds the abandoned infant boy in the forest and protects him from danger, including a snake guarding him. Despite societal disapproval due to the child being illegitimate, Abdul raises the boy with love, naming him Roshan and fighting societal prejudices.

Meena starts working as an assistant to lawyer Jagdish Chandra. Over time, they develop a romantic relationship and get married, with Meena hiding her past and her connection to Roshan. Mahesh, now a judge, has a son named Ramesh, adding to the family dynamics.

Roshan and Mahesh’s legitimate son Ramesh meet and befriend each other at school. Ramesh supports Roshan when other children tease him. During this time, Abdul reveals to the school principal that he found Roshan in the forest eight years ago, establishing his background.

Ramesh introduces Roshan to his home, where Malti welcomes him kindly, but Mahesh rudely dismisses him, claiming he is unworthy due to his illegitimate status. Mahesh’s rejection causes Roshan to fall into depression and seek bad company.

Ramesh tries to help Roshan but tragically dies in a car accident. This loss deeply affects Roshan, pushing him further into despair. He gets involved in theft, which leads to a court case presided over by his own father, Mahesh.

In court, Abdul Rasheed reveals Roshan’s true identity and recounts how he found him in the forest. Recognizing her son, Meena testifies on Roshan’s behalf. Mahesh admits his fault after realizing Roshan is his son, acknowledging the truth.

Following the court’s revelations, Malti advises Mahesh to go and bring Roshan home. Mahesh, now aware of his son’s true identity, begins the process of reconciliation. Meena prepares to leave the house quietly, but Jagdish convinces her to stay and reunite with her son.

Mahesh and Malti visit Abdul Rasheed’s home to retrieve Roshan. At first, Abdul refuses, but ultimately, he entrusts Roshan to Mahesh and Meena. This marks the emotional reconciliation and the recognition of family bonds that were long denied.
