Wade Wilson, known as Deadpool, is engaged in his life as a mercenary and is determined to eliminate a target. Just as he is about to celebrate his anniversary with his girlfriend Vanessa, he faces a significant setback in his mission.

Wade teams up with Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead to combat a dire threat at a mutant orphanage. They face Cable, a time-traveling soldier intent on stopping Russell from becoming a killer in the future.

Wade confronts the headmaster of the Essex Home for Mutant Rehabilitation, who has been cruelly abusing the children. This encounter culminates in a fierce struggle for both survival and justice, leading to dire consequences.

In prison, Wade and Russell bond over their shared experiences of loss and trauma. Russell befriends Juggernaut, a powerful mutant, and together they form a plan for revenge against their respective oppressors.

Wade gathers a makeshift team known as X-Force, including Bedlam, Shatterstar, Zeitgeist, and Peter. They embark on a dangerous mission to rescue Russell during a prisoner transfer, though the plan does not go as smoothly as hoped.

During a crucial moment, Wade sacrifices himself to save Russell from Cable's bullet. This act of heroism results in a reunion with Vanessa in the afterlife, highlighting Wade's growth and development.

In a surprising twist, Wade's journey allows him to alter the future. Thanks to Negasonic and Yukio's repairs on Cable's time-travel device, he is able to save Vanessa and secure the lives of his friends.
