With his friend‑agent Betty, he races to decipher the list before his name climbs to the top. Meanwhile Alex, a small‑town social climber married to the ambitious doctor, befriends two similarly unhappy wives (Sonja Smits, Donna Pescow) and joins their plot to shorten the deadly list.
