Fifteen‑year‑old Kateřina spends her holidays at Castle Krabonoš, where her parents are wardens and she works the ticket office, until Petr, a young history student and new tour guide, arrives. Smitten, she fakes a theft of rare castle steins to get his notice. The ruse summons detectives, and though Katka realizes she’s overdone it, she finally catches Petr’s eye.
