Criminal Audition

An underground organization has assembled three potential candidates (one is missing) to take on a murder case. The candidates are blindfolded with sacks and bound in a chain, as they prepare for a series of tests to determine who fits the profile.

Miss M and her assistant Morris arrive to oversee the operation and push for results. They interfere with several procedures, signaling a ruthless new level of involvement.

Miss M kills P after he refuses to bash someone’s head in as commanded. The act demonstrates the brutal stakes and Miss M’s willingness to cross lines for progress.

Morris drugs and strangles another candidate to hasten the elimination. The move reduces the pool to two and shows the price of the organization’s brutal methods.

Only L and J remain as Miss M tests how to hide a body. J gives a strikingly good answer, but L is declared the winner based on Ryan’s reaction.

Miss M rewrites the terms and selects Ryan as the next candidate based on a prior deal with William. Ryan, desperate to quit, resists and is knocked out by Miss M.

The true motive behind Miss M and Morris’s involvement is rooted in Ryan’s confession about a case in which Miss M’s sister and Morris’s friend were harmed by a perceived failing of justice. They seek revenge for what they see as misapplied justice.

Ryan manages to slit Morris’s throat to prevent further torture. The act marks a turning point as the plan starts to collapse and allegiances shift.

L and Ryan discover Miss M dousing William and Adeline with gas, and they shoot her to end the threat. The confrontation shifts the balance of power in the room.

William pleads for freedom and the chance to take the money, but Ryan and L leave him and Adeline bound. The two survivors prepare to escape with the funds.

L and Ryan flee the compound with the money, their uneasy alliance solidified by shared survival. The film closes on their unspoken bond and a new future together.
