Crayon Shin-chan: Great Adventure In Henderland

Shin-chan's parents, Hiroshi and Misae, were captured when they visited Henderland. They were underJoma and Makao's mind control and were ordered to demand the magical cards from Shin-chan. After completing their mission, the villains transformed them into enchanted puppets as punishment or to prevent them from revealing the truth.

Toppema warned Shin-chan that those who enter Henderland and fail to obey Joma and Makao will be turned into puppets.

Toppema is actually Princess Mimori, the heroine from the legend Ms. Yoshinaga told the class. She was trapped inside a large doll by Joma and Makao, who imprisoned her soul. She escaped in the form of the smaller dancing doll and took on the name Toppema to hide her true identity while she sought help to defeat the villains.

Ms. Yoshinaga introduced the legend of Princess Mimori at the very beginning, establishing her as the story's central figure.

The magical cards contain powerful spells that can only be activated when wielded by a living being. Toppema stole the cards from Joma and Makao to prevent them from using their full power. Shin-chan uses them to summon heroic allies like Action Kamen, Kantam Robot, and Buriburizaemon, and even transforms into a steam train. The cards also teach Shin-chan how to defeat the villains.

Joma and Makoto trapped Princess Mimori's soul inside a doll to take control of Henderland. By imprisoning the true princess, the villains were able to rule the magical land without opposition. Mimori's soul was confined within the larger doll inside a glass case, preventing her from stopping their evil schemes.

The legend told by Ms. Yoshinaga established that the dragon and dark forces opposed the princess.

Shin-chan defeated Joma and Makao through two challenges at their palace. First, the Nohara family won a dance duel by performing a traditional Japanese dance that outshone the villains' ballet. Then they won a card game, and the magical cards revealed the method to defeat the villains. In the final battle, the villains' castle crumbled after being defeated.

Snowman is a minion of Joma and Makoto, dispatched to retrieve the magical cards from Shin-chan. He posed as a Department of Education official with forged documents to gain the trust of Shin-chan's teachers, friends, and parents. After failing to steal the cards, he left behind tickets to Henderland as part of the villains' plan to lure the family back.

Cre.G.Mad was under Joma's mind control, and his body or shirt contained Shin-chan's father, Hiroshi. When Cre.G.Mad's shirt transformed into Hiroshi, it revealed that the villain had been possessing or hiding Hiroshi as part of the mind control scheme. This explained why Hiroshi behaved strangely when he returned home.

Hiroshi and Misae returned from Henderland acting strangely and demanding the magical cards.

During the confrontation with Chokirin, her bra transformed into Shin-chan's mother, Misae. This revealed that Chokirin had captured Misae's soul and embedded it within her clothing, similar to how Hiroshi was hidden within Cre.G.Mad. This transformation showed the extent of Joma and Makao's ability to trap people's souls in objects.

Toppema explained that Chokirin's magic weakens her ability to assist during daylight hours. The magic binding Toppema and limiting her powers is tied to the darkness, allowing her full capabilities only when night falls. This is why Shin-chan had to prepare during the day and wait until evening to launch his rescue mission.

After Joma and Makao are defeated and their castle crumbles, the Nohara family escapes to the beach. Snowman confronts them but is melted by Princess Mimori, who reveals herself as Prince Gorman's true love. Mimori then reveals she was Toppema all along, and the movie ends with a celebration of Mimori and Gorman's marriage, restoring peace to Henderland.
