In 1969 Paris, a film’s production stalls when the director becomes obsessed with the mysterious actress Angela Lindvall, who portrays the alluring secret agent Dragonfly. To revive the project and bring it to a satisfying conclusion, an American documentarian is brought in to capture the story. He soon finds himself drawn into the intrigue, struggling to distinguish between the film’s narrative and his own developing fascination with Lindvall's captivating persona.
