Mama believes everyone is busy with spring cleaning, but each family member is actually shirking in their own way. Only the Captain gets caught and endures her wrath. He pretends to be ill to escape, but the boys expose his ruse. When Mama summons a doctor, the boys intercept him and impersonate him. Their deception is uncovered, as is the Captain’s, and Mama puts him to work doing everyone’s job.
