After wrestling with his alarm, the Captain awakens to discover his trousers have no suspenders’ buttons. He berates Mama, who snaps that if he dislikes housekeeping he can handle it himself and storms out. What follows is a cascade of mishaps—an overactive vacuum, an overflowing sink, crashing dishes and endless crises—yet the missing buttons remain.
