In Chembattunadu, a long-running feud between Mallanchira and Kattappilly fuels fear and crime. Retired goons Chenkeeri Madhavan and Vadival Vasu recount how the land earned its notorious reputation. The stage is set for powerful outsiders to tip the balance.

Chandramohan plans to sell his mansion to pay heavy debts. Nagendran opposes the sale, fearing loss of influence in the village. The police hint at Veerendra Mallaya, a wealthy Karnataka gangster who might take the property.

Mallayya arrives with his secretary Murukan, speaking Malayalam with a strong Kannada accent. He comes to purchase the property and establish his hold over the land, despite local opposition.

Dashamoolam Damu steals Mallayya's lorry and drives it into Vasu's house, demolishing it. Mallayya vows to repair the damage with his own money, aiming to win the villagers’ trust.

Murugan develops soft feelings for Meenakshi and brings Gowri and Meenakshi to Mallayya's house with Maakri Gopalan. The group’s arrival adds tension as loyalties begin to realign.

Dr. Lakshmi arrives on vacation and learns Nagendran intends to marry her without parental consent. She witnesses Nagendran violently assaulting her fiancé, who flees in fear. Mallayya pledges to help and protect her choice.

Gowri misreads the situation and believes Mallayya and Lakshmi are lovers, stoking jealousy as she herself has fallen for Mallayya. The tension deepens within the community and among families.

Chandramohan casually tells Mallayya about Veeru, his servant boy who once attacked his father Unnithan and ran away with money. The revelation introduces a dangerous link between Mallayya’s past and his present enmity.

Mallayya confesses to Vasu that he is Veeru, the Kannadiga street urchin. He recounts Unnithan’s care, Veeru’s theft of the money bag, Kuruppu’s framing, and Veeru’s escape, while Unnithan survives as a paralysed witness.

Nagendran presses ahead with the marriage to Lakshmi, but Mallayya intervenes to protect her, securing a future with her fiancé instead. The move further fuels Nagendran’s anger and determination.

The old police inspector, father of Lakshmi's intended husband, pledges to help Mallayya uncover the truth. Nagendran kills the inspector on the same night, escalating the manhunt and turning public opinion against him.

The villagers realize Mallayya is Veeru and gather, ready to kill him. In the climax, Mallayya pieces together the truth, proves his innocence, and Nagendran is killed by the public, ending his oppressive hold over Chattambinadu.
