The village priest studied ancient texts that revealed Liu Shen, the legendary defender who sacrificed his life to protect the village, has been reincarnated in another land. When two Chinese strangers encounter Sidhu in Chandni Chowk, they recognize him as the reincarnation based on spiritual signs and markings that match the prophecy.
