Aman Kapoor, a wealthy investment banker, is still haunted by the death of his pregnant wife Neha in a car accident more than a decade earlier. The tragedy leaves him depressed and socially withdrawn, forcing him to attend mandatory social obligations. His life lacks warmth or purpose as he navigates a stormy night.

In the heavy rain, Aman's car breaks down on a flooded road and his phone dies, isolating him from the outside world. He seeks shelter in an alley, realizing he won't reach safety easily. The night becomes the catalyst for a fateful encounter.

Chameli, a street-smart prostitute, appears in the alley and offers Aman a cigarette match. He is initially repulsed by her as she propositions him, yet her presence unsettles his rigid mood. A faint exchange begins to thaw his reserve.

The Assistant Commissioner of Police, K.P. Singh, forces a phone call and negotiates with Usman. He withdraws police protection from Usman initially, understanding the consequences, but later allows continued protection to stabilize the situation.
