Kammo lives a wealthy life with her widowed father Girdharilal, who wants her to marry someone sincere, not after their wealth. She defies him, marrying pilot Sumankumar, a womaniser driven by greed, leading Girdharilal to offer a Rs 1.25 lakh reward for her safe return. She returns humbled; Sagar appears at the wedding, changing everything.
