A parasitic alien hitchhikes into a hospital via a car crash victim and soon inhabits a candy‑stripper volunteer. Infected women develop a ravenous sweet tooth, attacking men sexually and spreading the parasite to other patients, including a group of short high‑school basketball players. As the CDC seals off the facility, the players and their friends fight to escape, fearing the alien outbreak could soon overwhelm the world.
