Sydney, 1988. Sally and Robert are hopelessly hooked on the “stinger”, a device that injects hyper‑heroin straight into the jugular. When supplies run dry, Robert steals a dose from the Burgher Meister, bragging about secret work with Liz and Margaret at the Institute of Brain Research. With super‑computer INFORB they embed subliminal audio‑visual triggers on a tape that provokes opioid peptides, promising the ultimate high. The Meister’s thugs hunt the trio for the tape, while the CIA launches Operation Peptide to seize it for a population‑control agenda.
