Bodyguard Kiba

Junpei, a low-level yakuza from Okinawa, steals 500 million yen from his boss Shinjo while en route to a heroin deal. A police raid interrupts the operation and results in Junpei being sent to prison for five years. The capture sets the stage for a future alliance with the elite bodyguard Kiba.

Upon release, Junpei offers 5 million yen to Kiba, the invincible bodyguard from the Kaito Karate dojo, to escort him to the hidden loot and to find Yoko. He wants Kiba to help him reach Yoko, his girlfriend, and to escape forever. The arrangement marks the first partnership between two rival worlds.

Outside the prison, Junpei is ambushed by attackers. Kiba fights them off with calm, controlled defense, protecting Junpei from an attempted kidnapping. The intervention foils the immediate threat and solidifies their uneasy alliance.

With Junpei grabbing one of the attackers' guns, they are not able to board a plane. Instead, they decide to travel back to Okinawa by boat. The voyage tests their partnership and readiness for what lies ahead.

Back on water, Shinjo plants fake quotes in the newspaper ridiculing Okinawa Karate. The insult provokes Okinawa Karate to issue a formal letter of challenge to Kiba. The propaganda war escalates the conflict.

Tetsugen Daito, head of the Daito Karate school, accepts the challenge on Kiba's behalf and defeats all challengers unarmed. Others keep attacking Kiba and Junpei as they search for Yoko. The unarmed victory shifts momentum in their favor.

They locate Yoko, who has fallen under heroin addiction and is working with Shinjo's gang. She helps fake her own kidnapping and the kidnapping of Maki to mislead their pursuers. The convoluted ruse deepens the trap around them.

Shinjo calls Junpei and demands the missing 500 million yen in exchange for the two women. The demand intensifies the stakes and motivates Junpei to retrieve the cash. The clock starts ticking toward a dangerous showdown.

Junpei retrieves the cash from inside heavy bags at his old boxing gym. The scene exposes the gritty underworld economy and confirms that the payoff is back in their hands. This money becomes the key to their next moves.

An Okinawa Karate school member who is also an Okinawa police officer informs them that Maki is being held at Club Satine, and that Yoko has become Shinjo's mole. The information narrows their search and exposes Yoko's complicity. The trio uses the tip to plan their next move.

The three men sneak into Club Satine and rescue Maki, who then helps them fight the remaining members of the Soryu Group at Shinjo's hideout. Their escape plan relies on Maki's inside knowledge and courage. The operation marks a turning point in their pursuit of both Yoko and Shinjo.

Junpei and Kiba defeat Yasunaga, Junpei's old rival, and push toward Shinjo and Yoko on the roof. The rooftop becomes a charged arena where loyalties are tested and fates are sealed. The tension escalates as the final confrontation nears.

Shinjo tries to manipulate Yoko into killing Junpei by giving her a gun. Instead, Yoko shoots herself through the heart, killing herself and Shinjo who stands behind her. The double tragedy solidifies the collapse of Shinjo's regime and leaves Junpei to pick up the pieces.

With Shinjo dead, Junpei heads to Tokyo to start anew. He promises to pay Kiba's fee upon arrival, closing the loop on their arranged protection. The journey marks a new chapter after the Okinawa saga.

An Okinawa police officer, also a member of the Okinawa Karate school, challenges Kiba for the honor of Okinawa Karate. Kiba defeats him in a display of superior karate and carries forward the school's reputation. The closing moment underscores the code and discipline of the dojos.
