Seeking employment, Derek takes over the position of his deceased friend at a tech startup. His work involves developing an advanced AI project: Susan, a sophisticated BDSM sex doll designed to experience and process punishment. As Derek interacts with Susan, he finds himself confronting his own desires and exploring complex themes of pleasure, pain, and mortality in a future where the lines between humans and technology are increasingly blurred.
