Big Fat Liar

Jason Shepherd, a 14-year-old boy with a talent for lying, lives in the fictional town of Greenbury, Michigan. He enjoys weaving tales but is often caught up in his own fabrications, which causes trouble in his life.

Jason's English teacher, Ms. Phyllis Caldwell, assigns a creative writing task, emphasizing its importance to the class. Unable to complete the assignment, Jason's parents are called in for a meeting with her regarding his lack of effort.

Inspired by his father's belief in his storytelling ability, Jason decides to write a story titled *Big Fat Liar*. This venture showcases his natural inclination to create exciting tales, although it stems from his tendency to lie.

While riding his sister's vintage bicycle, Jason collides with the limousine of Hollywood producer Marty Wolf. This incident turns out to be fortuitous for Jason, as he cleverly blackmails Wolf into giving him a ride to school.

After a ride where they bond over their shared love for weaving tales, Jason inadvertently leaves his newly finished story in the limousine. Wolf discovers the story and chooses to steal it instead of returning it, claiming it as his own.

Jason finds out that Wolf has stolen his story after his parents and Ms. Caldwell express their disbelief in his story's disappearance. As a result, Jason is compelled to attend summer school, which ignites his desire for revenge.

Determined to confront Wolf, Jason and his best friend Kaylee use their summer savings to travel to Los Angeles. They leave behind Kaylee's grandmother in the care of a local bully by promising him summer school assistance.

Upon arriving in Los Angeles, Jason and Kaylee successfully trick a limo driver into taking them to the studio where Wolf works. They cleverly navigate the studio's reception, planning to confront Wolf directly.

Jason finally confronts Wolf in his office, demanding the return of his stolen story. However, Wolf maliciously burns the document, solidifying his role as the villain in Jason's quest for justice.

In retaliation, Jason and Kaylee devise a series of creative revenge pranks against Wolf, enlisting the help of the limo driver, Frank, who has his own grievances against Wolf. Their pranks include dyeing Wolf's hair and tricks involving a child's birthday party.

As part of their revenge, Jason and Kaylee continue to orchestrate chaotic events that lead to Wolf suffering public humiliation. Each prank reinforces their determination to expose his misdeeds and redeem Jason's story.

After enduring a series of humiliating experiences, Wolf's professional life begins to falter, leading to a missed important meeting with Marcus Duncan, the president of Universal Studios. This signifies the impact of Jason and Kaylee's pranks.

In a climactic moment, Wolf unknowingly confesses to stealing Jason's story during a rooftop confrontation, fully unaware that he is being recorded. This pivotal confession paves the way for Jason's victory.

After the confession is released, Wolf's reputation is shattered, and he faces severe consequences for his actions. Jason, on the other hand, emerges victorious, gaining confidence and gratitude for the lessons learned.

The film based on Jason's story, *Big Fat Liar*, becomes a tremendous hit, highlighting his talents and journey. Meanwhile, Wolf is left a bankrupt clown, facing both comedic and poetic justice for his past deeds.
