Earth is the central battleground as the Black Nebula Empire launches a fortress and wipes out Earth's space fleets. The Yamato crew confronts a planet-wide bomb threat that could wipe out all life on Earth. They later discover Dezarium, a planet that appears Earth-like but is revealed as a deceptive facade in the war.
