Batman vs. Robin

In the past, young Bruce Wayne is told of a secret organization called the Court of Owls by his father, Thomas Wayne. He witnesses the murder of his parents and grows to suspect the Court's involvement, though he finds no solid evidence and begins to doubt the tale.

Present day Damian ventures out as Robin to rescue missing children abducted by Dollmaker, who brainwashes them into his 'dolls'. Batman frees the children, and Damian confronts Anton on his own. A mysterious owl-costumed figure appears, urges Damian to kill Anton, but Damian refuses and the figure disappears, leaving behind a feather.

Batman finds Anton's corpse and grows suspicious of Damian due to his violent history and the earlier owl encounter. He begins to think Damian may be involved, despite Damian's innocence. This suspicion strains their relationship.

Bruce believes Damian is dangerous and imposes security around Wayne Manor to prevent Damian from acting as Robin without permission. He struggles with trusting his son while trying to keep the city safe.

Bruce traces the feather to a museum and discovers it comes from a preserved owl. He is ambushed by owl-costumed assassins, sustaining injuries before Nightwing arrives to rescue him.

En route to Samantha Vanaver's location, a group of owl-clad thugs drive him off the road and take him to their headquarters. There he meets the Grandmaster, who invites him to join; he declines and leaves behind a tracking device. Unaware he's Batman, the Court lets him go.

Damian escapes Wayne Manor and encounters the assassin who killed Anton, who reveals himself as Talon and begins training Damian to become a Court assassin. The mentorship marks a dark turn as Damian embraces a path aligned with the Court.

Bruce infiltrates the Court's headquarters and is dosed with hallucinogenic gas, which shows a possible future where Damian becomes a murderous vigilante. Nightwing and Alfred rescue him and help him regain his senses and purpose.

During the Court's inner turmoil, Damian's paternity is revealed to Bruce. The Grandmaster rejects him in a bid to break Bruce emotionally, prompting Talon to strike. Talon then kills the Grandmaster, who is revealed to be Samantha, cementing his control over the Court.

Talon takes control of the Court and rallies an army of immortal Owls to assault Wayne Manor. Batman, Nightwing, and Alfred fend them off by freezing the invaders, stalling the takeover.

Talon duels Bruce and delivers a grave wound. Damian steps in to defend his father, declaring he could never replace Bruce as a father. In defeat, Talon forces Damian to stab him with his own sai, dying by Damian's hand and leaving Damian deeply shaken.

Bruce consoles Damian and offers him a chance to return home, but Damian declines, saying he needs to find himself. He accepts Bruce's suggestion to seek a monastery in the Himalayas, beginning a journey of self-discovery away from Gotham.
