Barbie as the Island Princess

A storm washes a little girl ashore on a tropical island. Sagi the red panda and Azul the Indian peacock find her and name her Ro, deciding to raise her with their animal companions. She grows up on the island with Tika the elephant, but remembers almost nothing of her past except for a lullaby.

Ro grows up alongside Sagi, Azul, and Tika, forming a strong bond with all of them. Her past remains a mystery, slipping away except for the lullaby she hums to herself.

Ten years after Ro was found, Prince Antonio of Apollonia arrives in the South Seas and is saved from a float of crocodiles by Ro. Impressed by her courage, he invites Ro to Apollonia to search for her past, and she agrees to go, bringing along her animal friends.

Ro travels to Apollonia with Antonio and her animal friends; during the voyage, the bond between them grows and Ro agrees to help look for clues about her origin.

Ro's arrival in Apollonia shocks King Peter and Queen Danielle, who are wary of her influence on their son. To feel at home, Ro and her animals take residence in the royal greenhouse.

Princess Luciana arrives to meet Antonio and the royal family, while Ariana’s secret lineage surfaces as a threat. Ariana begins plotting to sabotage Ro, trying to undermine her place in the palace.

At the royal engagement ball, Ro's grace impresses the court, but Peter's disapproval remains a hurdle. Antonio privately proposes to Ro during the ball, but she declines, choosing not to defy Peter in public.

Sagi spots a carriage bearing the same flag from Ro's boat and learns it belongs to Paladia, hinting that Ro's past may be tied to that kingdom. The horse reveals Paladia's royal tradition of three sons and no daughters, suggesting a royal connection for Ro.

Peter and Antonio clash as Antonio abdicates the throne to Rita, planning to run away with Ro. He leaves a note for Ro about the plan, but Tika overhears and hides it to protect Ro from heartbreak.

Ariana has her pet rats spread a sunset herb that puts animals into a coma, including Tallulah and Azul. Peter imprisons Ro and her companions, accusing them of bringing the 'disease' to Apollonia.

A sailor hired by Ariana’s plan sends Ro and her friends overboard; they are rescued by dolphins. On the sea, Ro experiences a flashback of a shipwreck and remembers that her name is Rosella.

Ro returns to Apollonia to expose Ariana’s plot and save her friends. She creates an antidote to wake her coma-stricken animal companions, but guards block her path; Tika disrupts the wedding to bring Antonio to Ro, while Sagi wakes Tallulah with the antidote.

Luciana reveals Ariana had warned not to eat the wedding cake, exposing her mother’s treachery. Ariana attempts to flee but is wrecked and falls into a pigsty, ending her schemes.

Ro's true identity is revealed when Queen Marissa of Paladia identifies Ro as the long-lost Rosella after the lullaby and memory returns. Ro and Antonio are finally married, and Ro sets off with their companions toward new adventures.
