Banshee

Sage Rion, Taryn Manning, is a professional car thief whose skillful escapades keep the city’s police at bay, earning her the infamous nickname The Banshee. Her deft ability to slip away from capture has long made her a ghost to law enforcement, and the thrill of the chase only sharpens her edge as she moves from one job to the next with calm, almost reckless precision.

One day, Sage targets a distinct vintage car, a 66 Dodge Charger, right before a date. In a moment of distraction, she drops her ID card at the scene, a small mistake that will ripple through the night and set off a chain of dangerous twists. After delivering the car to her fence, she returns home only to stumble upon a threatening letter that changes everything: the owner of the stolen vehicle has kidnapped her lover and demands the car back as the price of their release.

The tension escalates quickly. When Sage brings the Charger back to the spot where she took it, she is confronted not only by the looming danger of the kidnapper but also by two police officers who have converged on her apartment, and she finds her lover’s body awaiting them. With the authorities aiming to arrest her and her fence pressing for payment, Sage must slip away and start a dangerous solo investigation. She becomes both hunted and relentless as she pieces together fragments of clues, guided by a stubborn determination to uncover the truth behind the crime.

As the investigation deepens, Sage discovers that the killer is a serial offender, and the hunt intensifies. In a critical turn, she saves a cop, Michael Lombardi as Oliver “Fitz” Fitzgerald, from a disaster on the tracks, earning his trust and lending a wary ally to her cause. The rescue marks a turning point: Oliver believes in her innocence and agrees to help, recognizing that her actions blur the line between suspect and savior.

The pursuit leads Sage to a maintenance man, John Larch, and the pursuit grows more perilous as she follows the 66 Burgundy Charger’s trail. She visits Larch, hoping for answers, but is spotted and escapes before danger tightens its grip. She relays what she’s learned to the police, who later uncover that the man behind the deception is hiding behind the name Friedling, revealing that Larch’s real last name is Friedling and connecting the dots in a package of hidden crimes that entwine with Sage’s own case.

In a brutal turn of misfortune, Sage ends up captured by her own gang, but she refuses to stay down. She makes a daring return home where Brenna is found at a nightclub, and Sage tracks Brenna’s whereabouts to a DJ, uncovering disturbing evidence: Brenna’s necklace and a collection of photos depicting missing girls. In a courageous rescue, she frees Brenna from a locked box and lowers her down the elevator shaft using a firehose, a perilous move that shifts the balance of power yet again.

The final clash comes to a head as Oliver arrives, joining Sage in a confrontation with Larch. The two fight side by side, and in a brutal, decisive moment, Sage lands a hammer blow that finally sends Larch to his demise. With the danger ended, Sage and Oliver stagger out into the night, exhausted but alive, their bond tempered by the night’s shocking revelations and the cost of chasing the truth.
