Ballistic Kiss

Cat, an aimless contract killer, wears dark glasses regardless of the weather and calls into DJ Simon's radio show nightly. He spends his evenings gazing out his window at his angel living across from him and practicing slow dancing in his imagination, revealing his bleak yet romanticized outlook on life.

Carrie, a policewoman, also listens to the radio show every night and often hears Cat's calls. She is determined to arrest the mysterious killer, which puts her on a collision course with Cat, although her exact goal is to catch him in the act.

While heading to a contractor's location, Cat spots Carrie waiting at a bus stop and initiates a conversation. They sit together on the bus, and Cat predicts they will meet again, deepening the connection between them amidst his solitary, aimless life.

Cat visits a contractor and agrees to do one last assassination, targeting Conroy Chan. The contractor informs him that Wesley, a former partner turned enemy, will be guarding Conroy along with other security personnel, setting up the main conflict.

Wesley, who was once Cat’s partner when they were cops in New York, reveals himself after Cat kills Conroy. Wesley survives a shootout thanks to his bulletproof vest and is taken in for questioning, raising suspicions for Carrie.

During questioning, Wesley claims he does not know who the real killer is, which increases Carrie's suspicion. Meanwhile, Cat attempts to shoot Wesley with a sniper but instead abducts Carrie, mistaking her for Wesley’s girlfriend during a tense moment.

Cat keeps Carrie hostage at his house, where she learns that he has been watching her from across her home. Wesley calls Cat, leading to an exchange at a theater, where Cat engages in a standoff with Wesley’s men, and Carrie helps him escape, revealing her true identity as a police officer.

After their escape, Carrie reveals her identity to Cat, and they share an emotional hug. Despite their trust, Wesley's men capture Carrie’s friend and demand Cat’s death for her safety, forcing her to choose between loyalty and rescue.

Wesley captures Carrie's friend and issues an ultimatum that Carrie must kill Cat to save her. As she hesitates, a hired hitman appears to kill Cat, but Cat kills the hitman first, demonstrating his fighting skills one last time.

Cat and Carrie share a slow dance on a rooftop, where he reassures her he will save her friend before leaving her stranded alone. This moment highlights their emotional bond amidst the chaos.

Carrie escapes and heads to DJ Simon's office to listen to Cat’s last call, which reveals his location. She leads police to the building where Cat is critically wounded, showing her determination to stop the cycle of violence.

Carrie finds Cat in critical condition inside the building. Despite her efforts to save him, police shoot and kill Cat, ending his tumultuous journey. His death marks a tragic conclusion to his aimless yet romanticized existence.

Carrie visits Cat’s grave, mourning his loss. The film closes on her reflection, emphasizing the emotional cost of their intertwined lives and the tragic end of the aimless killer's journey.
