Diya, the chairman's secretary, expresses deep dissatisfaction with the decision to terminate Ravi and launches her own inquiry into the case. Her investigation sets Ravi's ethics and past actions under scrutiny.

Diya and Vivek dig into Ravi's past, uncovering that he and Vivek were once among the worst students at their private medical college. The flashback reveals how their early incompetence contrasted with later ethical awakenings.

Ravi's first romance at college is with Sainu, a junior Muslim student also known as Sainaba. Their relationship shapes Ravi's values, even as they face difficult choices about resources and the future.

After graduation, Ravi and Vivek face a stark choice: pay the college ₹5 lakh for a better start or accept an internship in a village hospital. Vivek pays, while Ravi heads to Redemption Hospital in Munnar to begin his medical career.

On the way to Redemption Hospital, Ravi's car collides with a police vehicle, and he becomes a target of harassment by ASI Purushothaman. The harassment leads to his suspension, interrupting his fledgling career.

Ravi initially struggles with Redemption Hospital's prison-like environment, but letters from Sainu and regular calls to Vivek keep him connected. Months pass as he begins to reconnect with his vocation, aided by Dr. Supriya, a junior doctor who helps him rediscover patient care.

Samuel reveals he received a call from Sainu's parents planning to marry her off, urging Ravi not to meet her. Vivek secretly arranges Ravi's and Sainu's marriage in Kochi, but Purushothaman stops the plan during a routine check.

Ravi learns that Sainu is house-arrested and reluctantly agrees to another arranged marriage, a blow that hardens and then refocuses him on his work. The setback foreshadows a transformation that drives him to throw himself into medicine.

A case tests Ravi's resolve when a critically ill girl arrives and he refuses to treat because she is Purushothaman's daughter. The hospital staff plead with him and Samuel intervenes, saving the girl and publicly reprimanding Ravi.

A formal inquiry is convened; Ravi remains silent as the panel weighs charges, while Samuel testifies on his behalf, arguing the girl was saved. Ravi experiences a turning point, deciding to leave Redemption Hospital and pursue further studies in London.

Diya pieces together that Ravi may have gone to meet Samuel, and the police trace him to Munnar, where a cemetery scene shows Ravi speaking with Samuel about the girl's death. Samuel is later revealed dead, and Ravi is arrested, then acquitted when the dead girl's mother testifies in his defense.

In the closing scene, Ravi sits in front of Redemption Hospital, with narration reflecting on where he began and the place that shaped the doctor he became.
