Attack of the Killer Donuts

Johnny Wentworth heads to his shift at Dandy Donuts with his childhood friend Michelle. Uncle Luther arrives with the tablet and reveals a serum capable of reanimating the dead. A tense clash erupts between Luther and Cliff Burbank, the shop's hard-edged owner.

During the clash, a vial slips from Luther's pocket into the donuts' fryer. The serum contaminates the batches, and the donuts themselves begin to move and attack. The threat spreads as every batch from that fryer becomes deadly.

The contaminated donuts begin to cause chaos across the neighborhood as people bite into them and fall victim. An edible army of murderous pastries spreads outward, leaving destruction in its wake.

Officers Roberts and Hammerstein unknowingly buy tainted donuts. A captured criminal in their squad car eats one, grows violently ill, escapes, and knocks the officers unconscious.

Rival restaurant owner Flanagan taunts Cliff with a healthier pastry. Cliff lures him to take home a sugar donut, completely unaware it's contaminated. While Flanagan is in the shower, the donut mutates and consumes him from within.

Howard visits Dandy Donuts and chats with Johnny and Michelle. A trio of teenagers harasses Michelle, and Johnny steps in to defend her. The confrontation spirals into a full-blown clash; Cliff fires Michelle, and Johnny quits in protest, with Howard following.

Cliff rewards the teens with complimentary donuts, which turn on them. The killer pastry threat expands as the teenagers fall victim one by one.

While driving away, Johnny, Michelle, and Howard encounter the criminal who dies right in front of them, another casualty of the pastry plague. The encounter cements the scale of the threat and pushes them to continue.

They locate Bobby's car and confront Veronica, who admits she used Johnny for money and that they were never a real couple. The emotional impact lands as they drive toward Johnny's home.

On the way to Johnny's home, they find three teenagers dead and more killer donuts lurking around. The danger has reached their doorstep as they push on.

They arrive at Mrs. Scolari's house to find her dead, surrounded by killer donuts. Michelle escapes, while Johnny and Howard fight the onslaught until reinforcements arrive.

Luther arrives with an anti-serum prototype and the group heads back to Dandy Donuts to confront the evolving threat. The plan shifts toward using a cure to halt the outbreak.

Howard confesses to an affair with Johnny's mother and sacrifices himself by venturing outside, drawing the donuts away from the group. His act buys time for the others as the danger mounts.

Luther and the others realize obliterating Dandy Donuts is the only way to end the plague. They blow the shop to the ground and escape through the sewers, destroying the killer donuts in the process.

In the aftermath, Johnny and Michelle confess their love for each other, their bond sealed by the harrowing ordeal. The shared danger cements their connection and leaves them looking toward an uncertain future.
