Army of Frankensteins

Alan is abducted and brought to a hidden warehouse run by Dr. Tanner Finski. Surgeons remove one of his eyes and graft it into a Frankenstein monster, while Igor injects a regeneration liquid. A bolt of lightning overloads the system and opens a portal to another time.

Igor triggers the regeneration process and the creature stirs to life. Alan unintentionally helps awaken the monster as the lab overloads. A bright bolt of lightning blasts the setup, tearing a rift that drops them into a different century.

The Frankensteins rampage across both Confederate and Union lines, leaving casualties in their wake. Corporal Solomon Jones rescues Alan and discovers he is his distant ancestor. Alan begins to glimpse the original Frankenstein's senses through the creature's eyes.

Igor slips behind Confederate lines to reach the Union side. Lt. Swanson retrieves Igor’s injector and uses it on a cat, transforming it into a towering beast that roams the woods. The injector hints at the monstrous potential for the war.

Dr. Finski warns that their only chance to return home is to kill Frankenstein, but he dies before any plan can be enacted. The remaining group resolves to locate the Frankensteins and end the threat. They begin their search across the camps.

The team tracks the Frankensteins to a Union camp. In a pivotal moment, the original Frankenstein corners Virginia in a hot-air balloon, and they escape together. Virginia shares her life as a slave and, moved by her story, the creature agrees to help the Union.

The balloon is shot down and the group is captured. On the return journey, Solomon is attacked by the cat-beast and loses his left forearm. The loss leaves the team battered but determined to finish the mission.

Back at Confederate camp, Walton notes Frankenstein’s strength and orders Swanson to inject himself, transforming into a larger Confederate monster. Believing the war is nearly won, he lets the others go to warn the Union.

Virginia reappears at the Union camp with all the Frankensteins, restoring morale among the soldiers. The next day a massive battle erupts as the Frankensteins fight alongside the Union.

During the battle, Maggie stabs the original Frankenstein in revenge for a fallen soldier. The other Frankensteins falter as the Confederate monster disables Solomon’s disintegration ray, and Maggie dies in the ensuing struggle.

With the Union victory apparent, Lincoln invites Alan, Igor, and Frankenstein to the White House. Igor drinks more regeneration liquid and secretly hands Solomon a bag to be opened only after he’s gone.

In the capital, Walton and the Confederate monster arrive to plot Lincoln's assassination with John Wilkes Booth. Igor is spotted and shot by Walton; as he dies, Frankenstein calls the others to regroup with Solomon and Virginia.

Alan and Frankenstein confront Walton, Booth, and the Confederate monster at the theatre. Solomon and the Frankensteins arrive; Walton is torn apart and Booth is disintegrated by Solomon. Frankenstein is shot and topples the balcony, crushing Lincoln, as the portal reopens and Alan returns to his own time.

Back in the warehouse, Alan warns Igor of his impending death, but Igor remains committed to leaving. Alan returns to his grocery job and tells Ashley about the near-miss, though she declines the marriage. A final twist reveals Solomon Jones married Virginia and adopted Igor; Solomon is later revived by a storm-triggered regenerator from Igor’s bag.
