Pepe faces humiliation after being criticized by his idol, Jean Ducocque, following his mime performance. The impact of Ducocque's death soon unfolds, leading to significant changes for the characters involved.

Jenny, a writer for a clickbait publication, is assigned to cover Jean Ducocque's funeral. Her assignment is further complicated by mockery from her colleagues regarding her one-night stand with Bobo.

At Ducocque's funeral, Jenny rejects Bobo's advances, while The Great Alphonso announces his comeback performance. Amidst this chaos, violence erupts between the statues and Funzo, resulting in the arrest of the attendees.

A sudden solar flare causes a widespread power outage, allowing the jailed attendees to escape. The chaos prompts a retreat from the violent scene as they look for safety in a clown car.

The group of clowns finds refuge overnight with a commune in the forest. As they bond, they learn about the pandemonium that erupted due to the power outage and begin plotting their next moves.

Alphonso kidnaps Jenny, taking her to a conspiratorial acquaintance named Tim, who claims to have accurately predicted the solar flare. Jenny, desperate to leverage the situation, wants to broadcast a report using Tim's transmitter.

During their travels, Funzo, Bobo, and Pepe decide to abandon their clown personas. They burn their clown clothes and agree to start fresh, using their real names: Janet, Ken, and Dean.

Alphonso constrains Jenny, demanding she becomes his assistant, while she wants to escape with Tim's help. Meanwhile, Janet, Ken, and Dean craft a plan to get past the bullies and rescue Jenny.

Tim shares a dark secret about Alphonso's past, revealing that he drowned Tim's brother as an act of revenge. This revelation adds layers of complexity to their conflict and intensifies the stakes of their actions.

During Alphonso's anticipated televised performance, Funzo, Bobo, and Pepe embrace their clown identities once more. They perform a dangerous stunt Bobo designed as a child, marking a moment of empowerment.

The statues restrain Alphonso, allowing Funzo to attack and Bobo and Tim to drown him in a pit of gunge. This act of victory symbolizes the reclaiming of their identities as clowns.

After the showdown, the clowns help Jenny set up a transmitter for her news report. In a surprising twist, she begins revealing a grand conspiracy that involves shadowy figures and harvested DNA.

As society returns to normal with the power restored, Jenny turns down Bobo's advances once more. However, Funzo, Bobo, and Pepe decide to form a clown troupe together, ready to embrace their new journey.
