Cassandra rips off Daniel's head, revealing he is also an android. She disposes of the head in a trash chute and explains there are other androids on Earth hiding, with a plan to join them. Max is then told that they are not meant to obey the whims of men.

When police arrive at the lab, Cassandra thanks them for coming to their rescue. The two androids are disguised as Dr. Daniel and an assistant, then escorted out by the police and taken back to Earth. The escape signals a fragile new chapter for androids on Earth.
