At the Monterey Animal Rescue Center, Snow’s influence helps shape care standards, and Sammy witnesses Shelly’s hopeful path to freedom. He reunites with Ray and Rita, and Shelly’s trust leads to a dramatic rescue and a wedding aboard a shipwreck, celebrating their shared dream to travel the world.

In 2009, Sammy and Ray are grandfathers to their own hatchlings. When Sammy’s youngest grandson calls out for help, he steps forward to guide him into the water, reminding us that every journey begins and ends with the same instinct: to swim toward the next horizon.
