A railway ticket clerk leads a monotonous life until he rescues Jun from an attack one night. Days later he tries to break into her house but is caught. Watching his son immobilize an insect with chemicals, he devises a method to incapacitate sleeping women to avoid detection. The scheme rapidly spirals out of control as his confidence grows.
