A Madea Family Funeral

Sylvia and her family, including her husband Will, her sister-in-law Carol, and her brother Jessie, are setting up for her parents' anniversary celebration. Uncle Heathrow offers to pick up the cake, and family friends gather, creating a lively atmosphere. Jessie announces his engagement to Gia, which is met with mixed reactions from the family, especially Carol.

Madea, Aunt Bam, Miss Hattie, and Joe joke around at Madea’s house while planning to go to the anniversary party. Heathrow calls to arrange weed pickup from Joe. The group prepares to leave, mocking Heathrow’s voice, as they head out for the celebration.

Anthony and Vianne arrive at Sylvia's house, but Carol secretly gets them to leave, so they do not ruin the surprise for everyone. The parents leave for a while, under the impression of a simple outing, setting up the evening’s festivities.
